If you look to the left from your holiday flat, you’ll already be able to see the Stöckerkopf – Baiersbronn’s local mountain, on which the Glasmännle Hut is situated. At the top, you’ll find a cosy spot to stop for a bite to eat, offering magnificent panoramic views over Baiersbronn and the Black Forest, as well as regional, seasonal and strictly vegetarian-vegan cuisine.
The hut is a lovely destination for walkers, mountain bikers and anyone who fancies a little break in the countryside. If you’d prefer to take it easy on the climb, you can take the hut bus up and enjoy the view at your leisure.

The Baiersbronn Treasures present nine hand-picked specialities from the region around Baiersbronn – ingredients that come directly from the forests, meadows and heights of the Black Forest and have been lovingly refined by hand.
These products speak of tradition, origin and sustainability – be it the robust forest honey produced in small batches by local beekeepers, or the matured Grinde ham from the high-moor Hornisgrinde, which undergoes several weeks of air-drying and maturation.
All these delicacies can be found at local producers, in select shops or on the menus of regional restaurants – a delicious invitation to experience the local area through its taste.

- Baiersbronn - Rinkenturm
The Rinkenturm – A sightseeing tour above the Murg valley
High up on the Rinkenkopf ridge near Baiersbronn stands the Rinkenturm: A viewing tower over 100 years old, built from local red sandstone, offering an impressive panoramic view over the Murg Valley, the village of Klosterreichenbach and the wooded landscape of the northern Black Forest.
The climb is well worth it – whether after a hike or simply to pause for a moment – at the Rinkenturm, nature, history and the view combine to create an unrivalled experience.
- Ellbachseeblick
Ellbachseeblick – panoramic view above the lake
From the Ellbachseeblick, you can enjoy a spectacular view – some ten metres above the forest floor, the view opens out onto Lake Ellbach below and the surrounding landscape of the Northern Black Forest.
The wheelchair-accessible viewing platform was built in 2013 using locally sourced Douglas fir and blends elegantly into the natural surroundings – making it ideal for walks, hikes with pushchairs or relaxing breaks in the countryside.
A place to take a deep breath, marvel at the views and pause for a moment – right in the heart of the forest, with sweeping views and easy access.

Whether traditional, with colourful obstacles or in the middle of nature – around Baiersbronn there are various options for a game of crazy golf. The courses offer varied holes and are ideal for a relaxing outing with family or friends.

Nestled in the heart of the picturesque Buhlbach Valley near Baiersbronn lies the Glashütte Buhlbach Cultural Park, the last major remnant of the glass industry in the Black Forest – it was here in the 18th century that the pressure-resistant champagne (or sparkling wine) bottle was invented and exported from here to the four corners of the globe.
The historic halls and melting furnaces, workshops and living quarters of the glassmakers’ families tell a story of innovation, craftsmanship and industrial pioneering – a place brimming with stories that extend far beyond the region.
